Sterner's slogan is "expect the best". That says it all. Matheis Sterner doesn't do mediocre work just to get the job. If the foundation needs fixing he's going to fix it right. In my case it was digging all the way down to the foundation, shoring up walls, etc. I also had the basement floor replaced. Good thing as we found completely filled pipes. Now it feels and looks like a new home. Matheis and his crew work together great. They respect each other and work as a team. They also handled the moving of plumbing lines and provided me with other contractors equally as good. I cannot recommend them more highly. They do the right thing. You should, too.

I was under a time frame to have a sewer line tied from my house to the street and my septic tank collapsed. I reside in Olmsted Falls. I was referred to Sterner Excavating by a friend and they were very prompt about returning my call and getting someone to give me an estimate. The price was pretty much the same as other previous estimates, but they were very good about explaining the process and assuring me things would be done before my deadline. Even though the weather wasn't ideal they got everything done as they said they would and made the experience as painless as possible from their end. I highly recommend their service if you find yourself needing anything like this.
